Yeah, I heard Gerard say that at a show. It reassured me more to know he has known her for 4 years instead of knowing her for about 6 or 7 months. I adore Lyn-Z no matter what, but I feel better knowing that they knew eachother for a long time.

MCR will be in South America. Basically, they will be in Chile, Sao Paulo, Rio of Janeiro, Curitiba (Brazil) and Buenos Aires (Argentina), most likely in March, but it has been confirmed.

Gerard was asked in an interview on how he feels about MCR being called "emo"

I think what they are trying to say is, in society, our fans are automatically classed “emos”, and, at the moment, “emos” are pretty much public enemy number one. Everyone hates them. Slipknot fans, well, they’re more publically accepted.
People just don’t understand. Our band is so passionately loved by the fans because, in a way, they fuel the fire that keeps us living. But at the same time, the haters truly despise them because they just don’t get it. In my opinion, unless you understand where we're coming from, you have no right to make an assumption or an opinion on us.

MCR lost the Best Of 2007 band to Three Days Grace on Fuse by just a few votes. It was a close race. I love both bands, but I wish MCR would of won..

This is old, from April 07, but I found it an thought it was cute. Gerard gives fans a message about Mikey and his marriage and how Mikes is taking time off tour to be with his wife.

Hey Guys,

We like to keep all of you in the loop because although you are fans we see you as our friends...

I'm very proud to announce my brother's recent marriage. Watching him grow up into a man and finding love makes me the happiest brother alive.

In light of this joyous event, the band has decided to give he and his wife a much needed break from the road to start a life and have a proper honeymoon and do all of the things a newlywed couple should do.

I know this is upsetting news, as it is for us, but we will continue to tour with a temporary replacement until he has situated himself in his new life.

We thank all of your for your love and support, and know you are all as happy for him as we are.

Asia has posted a review of the Singapore gig at the Max Pavillion on December 11. They also wanted you all to know Gerard did some flashing of his red boxers (LOL...taking after Billie Joe, are we?) and apparently Mikey is now using a nebulizer (definition: a device used to give someone medicine by turning it into a vapor or mist in a mouthpiece and the person then breathes it in; used to treat cystic fibrosis and respiratory diseases.)

It was the first song I heard before the album came out....it's my favorite off the album.

My favorite is 'The Sharpest Lives'. It's my favorite MCR song. I don't really know why. I love the music, lyrics and Gerard's voice is amazing on it.

Did anybody read what David Farrier said about MCR? It was in some magazine or something.
