“Hey baby,” Adrienne called. “Can you go and get some groceries?”
Billie yawned and stretched his arms.
“Yeah, just give me a second to wake up.”
Adrienne smiled. Billie always lay around sleeping. But he did
deserve it. Waking up at around 4 o’ clock A.M. to go on tour
wasn’t really his definition of a good day. He loves to sleep
in.
“Here’s the list, Hun.” Adrienne said handing him the piece of
blue-lined paper with her neat handwriting.
“Alright, I’ll be back,” Billie stood up and gave Adrienne a
kiss on the lips. “Love you 80.”
Adrienne looked up at him and smiled. “Love you too BJ.”
“Okay, I need…milk.” Billie said to himself, looking down at
the list. Billie moved his cart over to the freezers to get the
milk. After, he checked it over on the list and went on to the
next idem. He stared at the word below it.
“Tampons? Oh great!” Billie sighed. He said that he’d do
anything for his wife and this was no exception. He took a deep
breath then turned the cart into the aisle.
“Damn! How many different products do girls need!” Billie cried
staring at all of the feminine products on the wall. Billie made
a weird face. He felt like he was going to cry over
embarrassment. Not wanting to spend anymore time in that
particular section, Billie just grabbed one and headed to the
front to pay. As he turned he caught a familiar face. Oh god
no! Billie thought to himself. It was none other than Tre, and
he was coming right toward him with that goofy look that he
always wore on his face.
“Aw Billie, is it the time of month again?”
