I'm starting to write a Bert/Gerard fan fic. I have some ideas, but nothing for sure. I have a couple short paragraphs for chapter 1. I've been contemplating it for a couple of days, but I just typed some of it today.

I found out a couple of weeks ago that Bert McCracken was dating a woman named Kate back in 2003 - 2004ish. She became pregnant and it was a baby girl. They were planning to name her Paige McCracken.

Kate overdose on heroin on July 4th, 2004. She and Paige both passed away.

I thought this would definetly carry a lot of emotion. I've started out writing about the day in Bert's POV. Gerard & the rest of MCR will come in later. I have some more ideas, but I don't really want to say everything.

Titles:

1. Empathy
2. How Amazing It Feels Just To Live Again
3. It's Hard To Say

They all make sense. The last two are lyrics from Used songs.

The Used song 'Hard To Say' is a tribute to Kate. It's the saddest song I've ever heard. Ever. I strongly advise you guys to give it a listen. The melody, lyrics, Bert's voice, it's all beautiful. I cry every time.

Okay, another idea RANDOMLY popped in my head a few days ago.

I haven't written a fan/band story yet, so I thought it would be cool. I have a paragraph or so for one I'm calling;

- My Way Home Is Through You

Basically, the main character, (she doesn't have a name yet) is pretty much a good 'ol fashioned loser. She doesn't know who MCR are, but her friend drags her along to see their show. She's a comic book junkie, so she's read Gerard's comic, The Umbrella Academy, so she thought it would be cool to see his band live. She ends up getting stuck in a mosh pit, and getting hurt pretty bad, so a bouncer has to take her back stage. She ends up meeting the band, hanging out, etc. I dunno.

I'm totally stuck on I Would Drive On To The End With You. The other chapters just flew out, but this ones hard for some reason.

I have the flashback of the beginning of the chapter all down and I think it sounds pretty good so yay! lol
