The Umbrella Academy is Gerard Way's comic book series. I found some pictures of the comic and decided they were so awesome, I wanted them to have their own thread
Plot: The members of the Umbrella Academy, a disbanded group of superheroes, reunite after the death of their adoptive father, "Sir Reginald Hargreeves". Hargreeves, an alien disguised as a famous entrepreneur, collected the members of the Umbrella Academy shortly after their birth and trained them to save the world from an unspecified threat. After his death, the members carry on his plan save the world.
If you don't know, the drawings are not Gerard's. They are by the artist who illustrates the comics, 'Hellboy'. Her name is Gabrielle Ba. Gerard said, "no, the art isn't mine. It was hard enough to just get the scripts in on time. Gabrielle is a way better artist than me anyway."
Gerard did do the rough drafts of the illustrations and all the writing and characters are his creations.
I want this comic so bad. I love it, the plot and everything.
